Talking about performance, Jeep offers two engines for the Gladiator, namely a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that produces 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque; and a 3.0-liter Turbodiesel V-6 engine (EcoDiesel) that puts out 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. The base trim of the 2021 Gladiator is powered by the 3.6-liter V-6 that is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The higher trims come with eight-speed automatic transmission. All the trims come standard with a four-wheel-drive drivetrain. The gasoline powertrain offers a maximum towing capacity of 7,650 pounds while the diesel powertrain has a towing capacity of up to 6,500 pounds.
Coming to the interior options, the Jeep Gladiator offers a good number of standard features along with a plethora of optional features that you can opt for based on your requirement. For the base trims, the Gladiator comes with cloth upholstered seats, a five-inch touchscreen display, a rearview camera, two USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, and a folding soft top. Features such as heated front seats, heated steering wheel, an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation system, a nine-speaker sound system, automatic climate control, and a forward-facing camera, and leather upholstery are optional for the base trims while offered as standard in some of the higher trims.
